冠状病毒(COVID-19)

While communities and organizations continue to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, one thing you can be confident of is the stability of public power. At ElectriCities, we’ve been planning for situations like this for years. We’re continuing to coordinate with the Electricity Subsector Coordinating Council (ESCC) and the American 公共权力 Association (APPA) to ensure that organizations, 行业, and the general public have the resources they need to keep the lights on.

最近的一次 普华永道 条状态, “Power and utility companies have a strong track record when it comes to preparing for emergencies. 作为关键基础设施的提供者, the 行业 should plan for — and be prepared to respond to — many foreseeable hazards, 包括卫生突发事件.”

At ElectriCities, we’re working directly with our member cities to navigate the impacts of COVID-19. We recognize the importance of a reliable electric grid and are taking precautions accordingly. Our aim is to remain committed to you — our customers — while keeping the health and safety of our communities and employees as our top priority.

通过我们与ESCC的合作, we’re getting regular updates from the departments of Energy, 国土安全, 和健康 & 人类服务, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 联邦能源管理委员会, and the North American Electric Reliability Corporation.

就像我们经历过无数的风暴, 飓风, 和自然灾害, 我们与你同在, providing the leadership necessary to guide us through this crisis. Below is a list of valuable resources to assist in navigating this unprecedented event:
